The restaurant recommended by the hotel staff did not serve a Full English Breakfast, which was not to our liking. We stumbled upon the Harbour Café in town and were impressed with the menu, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff. The breakfast we had was excellent and we wanted to go back the next day, but unfortunately, the café was closed when we arrived. We were unsure if the change in hours was due to a recent Bank Holiday. We were disappointed as we would have gladly eaten there again. We highly recommend the Harbour Café.
I stopped in for a cup of tea but couldn't resist the tempting smell of bacon sandwiches. The young servers were friendly and attentive but not overly so. The tea and bacon sandwich were made with fresh ingredients and were enough to satisfy at a reasonable price. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with beautiful decor. The window tables were perfect for people watching.
Ordered a full english and the bacon still had a pulse it was pretty gross. after mentioning it to staff, instead of getting it replaced I was offered to pay £2 to get a new cooked batch
Pretty cafe in a nice spot in Margate. Lovely coffee and hearty breakfast. Staff friendly and cheerful. Food service was relatively slow given we were only 1 of 2 tables in the cafe when we ordered. Consequently we had to extend our parking time. On the one hand at least it’s cooked fresh, on the other hand it’s only breakfast: how long does it take to fry some bacon and eggs? Overall good experience and would return.
Do t know why this place had terrible reviews.. just sat here with a bit of sunshine.. great service.. best sausage and egg sandwich.. big doorstep bread and good butter, great quality Cumberland sausages and amazing local eggs!! Coffee was illy and service with a smile and really reasonable prices.. keep it up..
