Thevars Briyaani - Thanjāvūr

During my last visit to Tanjore, my relative suggested this Thevars biryani hotel which is a famous place for non veg items in Tanjore. We had both Mutton and chicken biryani Mutton biryani was priced around 220rs.the Mutton pieces were tender and well cooked. This seeraga samba Biryani had mild aroma with a home style taste. And Quantity provided for more than sufficient for a person. When I posted about the same in my YouTube community page, most people agreed with me, but there were few who argued that this restaurant lost its old taste. Anyways if you are in Tanjore, do try their biryani They have both Ac and non ac seating and it's suited for families too. There is a paid govt parking space just opposite to restaurant, so no worries about parking your car

After along time I taste this type of briyani it's really awesome and good. Must try mutton biryani and coconut fish fry it's really very good and different. There is dish called mutton 88. I never tried that if anyone tried it please let me know. Will try it in next visit

Good Restaurants, but mutton biryani is not good, chicken biryani is average. Chicken gravy Very tasty. Onion super. Rate too high for these biryani. Mutton Biryani ₹.240 (without Egg) Chicken Biryani ₹. 180 (without Egg) Not not included this price. I just visit one time only. But orded food for ₹.5000 total. My friends(22 Members) all says not worth for that rate.

Chettinad chicken is the food which i had first time here. I simply love that dish. I also had chicken biryani. Idiyappam chettinad chicken was the great combination in Thanjavur. The place was clean, staff was helpful friendly. I would highly recommending this place for biryani chicken lovers.

Briyani vera level... Quality, quantity and prices are good... Nearby beeda shop vera level.... There is a car parking opp to the hotel....
