Vasantha Bhavan - Thanjāvūr

Near the old bus station, one of the good vegetarian hotel is Vasantha Bhavan, an old hotel, now renovated. Good tiffin items for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is too full. Parking is almost nil on the main road. For good tiffin, other things can be put on. Very reasonable prices.

After visiting Brihadeeswara temple we had lunch at this hotel since the palace timings of opening for afternoon was only at 3 pm.We had vegetarian meals here which was very good.

Very Grand spread of Veg Lunch. Typical South Indian meals with 4-5 vegetables. Hotel was bit crowded. Thanks to the tasty lunch and great service.

A south Indian restaurant around 8 Km away from temple. its ok Average. Service is good. Restaurant is at main road and easily accessible

Vasanth Bavan is a pleasant hotel that is particularly well-suited for older individuals, as they serve food with minimal amounts of oil. The taste of the food is enjoyable as well.
