The servers are really sweet and attentive; we always had a coffee top up when needed. The views are lovely even on an overcast day. The big breakfast was large enough for two people, but we also got an extra order of homefries because they were so good. There's a trail right beside the restaurant too, which makes this a perfect place to eat before/after a hike. Highly recommend!
Great breakfast fare with lots of vegetarian options. Not fancy, but friendly. Take a walk along the rail trail that goes right past it to build up an appetite: the portions are generous
We had the Friday fish fry today. Wow, it was delicious. Chef Derek Campbell has outdone himself this time. The addition of the homemade coleslaw and tarter sauce sent the meal over the top. Way to go.
Not sure how I am the first to review this place haha? But its a nice little hidden gem in the Hammer. It's one of my go to spots in Hamilton for an affordable breakfast now! You can't beat eating on the patio looking out over the course and escarpment either!
I enjoyed the vegetarian skillet breakfast with perfectly poached eggs. The veggies were nicely sautéed and the potatoes were crispy. I have never had such a wonderfully prepared diner breakfast. My hungry teens had the big breakfast, it was so huge, the server needed to carry each one with two hands. Truthfully it was too much food, but they said it was delicious, especially the fluffy pancakes.
