Orient Cafe - The Dalles

They have good food. visited the dalles and wanted to eat some Chinese.

Their more traditional food items are wonderful and I believe are a hidden gem in the community. I highly recommend the Cumin beef, curry beef chow fun, and sha cha dish also!

After a long covid pause, we ordered what we used to order pre covid. What we got was less for a lot more in cost. Expected a price increase, but it was worse than we imagined, but the most disappointing thing was the quality of the food. It wasn't what it used to be. The noodles were absolutely disgusting. So old and stale we threw them away. A real shame. We agreed we won't go back.

Amazing little restaurant ?Fun friendly people here, in this wonderful lil Asian restaurant, they open the doors engaged with us,, made us feel very welcome, hmmOh yea the food is absolutely ? awesome. I will be stopping by here on my travels of i84 every time I come through.

Authentic Chinese food. Delicious and exquisite flavor. Friendliness of the staff.
