Parking was easy and the atmosphere of the restaurant was incredible. I will be returning very soon to this restaurant. 10/10 would recommend.
I recently celebrated a friend’s birthday at Aiko, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As part of Houston Restaurant Week, their menu offered fantastic choices. What truly made the day special was the attentive and thoughtful service. From the host to the server and even the manager, everyone took the time to wish my friend a happy birthday, adding a personal touch to our meal. The food was outstanding—each dish, especially the fish, was incredibly fresh. We were so excited to dive into each dish that we completely forgot to take pictures! We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary birthday crudo and maki dishes, which were absolutely delicious. To top it all off, we ended the meal with some juicy Japanese melons, complete with a candle for my friend to make a wish. Aiko made our celebration truly memorable, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a special occasion.
Came here with the family for my wife's birthday a couple of weeks ago. Lovely restaurant with great decor and a lively ambiance. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Probably the best Japanese food I have ever eaten. Simply outstanding. Creative, fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. Wonderful birthday dinner.
One of our favorite spots in Houston. The staff is friendly and helpful and their quality is consistent and delicious.
The food quality is excellent our fish was extremely fresh, but the portions are pretty small. My friends and I ordered dishes from the HRW menu and the regular menu. The menu is mostly drinks, and the dining room isn’t very large, which can lead to wait times and a very loud atmosphere (which sometimes is a preference for people! ; our party of four had to wait about 20 minutes past our reservation. Service was also a bit of an issue, as we were repeatedly given the wrong plates (each course, my friends and I had to switch plates with one another not sure if they record seat numbers when taking orders and some drinks arrived after the meal. There is valet parking next to the restaurant or if the lot is full, you can park in the church behind the valet lot or on the street. The valet told us that the church is used for Aiko parking as well if you are worried about being towed. This place might be worth a visit if you're nearby!
