We asked the waiter for his recommendation and he selected the thick. We didn't really like the thick broth, it was like yolk. The vietnamese ice coffee was a premix and it was way too sweet!
The food here was amazing but no one spoke English. It took us roughly 10 minutes to get what we wanted to eat across to the waiter but they were very nice. Thanks for good food. I will eat here again now that I know what to order #10 under the Jasmine Rice selection. Grilled chicken, pork and shrimp with a salad. So Yummy! ?
This place is okay. My friends and I ordered the BÁNH CANH Đặc Biệt and the Mi Thap Cam. The Mi thap cam was good but honestly, there’s better spots in the Bellaire area. As for the BÁNH CANH Đặc Biệt, it didn’t really look anything like the picture we saw on the menu so we were a little confused when it first came out but everything still tasted good. The only thing I wish they did differently was the deep fried soft crab- there was a little too much batter. Aside from that, the service was fast and I appreciated how they gave us cut up chillies on top of the steamed bean sprouts, cilantro, and lime.
Best place to get banh canh close to what you can get in Vietnam. It came with shrimp, crab and it's very good. Broth and noodle are delicious and fresh.
Bánh canh tôm cua was not good. Plain soup, noodle too soft, crab claws barely had any meat, fish cakes were too soft and weird after taste. The only good point was service. Wouldn’t recommend.
