Fornos - The Energy Corridor, Houston

First-time guests at Fornos. I was the first customer of the day. Nice painting on the wall. I ordered sautéed crab claws. It was delicious. I also had Seafood Alfredo. A tad under seasoned but with pepper and salt it was great. Fresh pasta.Food: 4/5

We had an amazig dinner. We tried the linguini with clam and it was delicious. Service was also nice.Food: 5/5

I walked in to pick up my online order and the guy at the counter (possibly the owner or manager) acted like he didn’t want to give me my food. All because I said it was either in my name or my wife’s name, because I didn’t know which one she did. So I called her and asked to send me the confirmation, which she did, then that still wasn’t good enough for him. So I’m sitting on the phone with her for 5 minutes while she has to try to download the Slice app that their website makes you order through, because it doesn’t automatically give you an itemized receipt through email/text. There was literally only one order on the counter, why not just listen to the two names I said? What are the odds I’ll randomly walk in and guess the name right at the exact time? Treating me like a criminal trying to pick up food that I already paid for.

Service is ZERO. The cleaner(bus boy)served us . While the chef served white folks that came after us took time to talk to them but never came to us to ask if we have been served. A couple came again while we were waiting and they were served another lady came and she was served. We waited over 40 minutes to be served our waiter served us appetizers with no apology for wait time and the Waiter served us main meal after 25 minutes. The cleaner also served us the complimentary bread. The cleaner is sitting guests the cleaner is doing everything that dude deserves a raise. First time here put off and won’t be back neither would I recommend. I don’t care to comment on the food. No bar man no nothing cutleries are an apology. Overpriced

Awesome Italian food! Fresh homemade rolls to start and I had the Pescotore di Mare Pasta and it was amazing! Excellent and very quick service as well!Food: 5/5
