I did the build your own bowl option and got to choose my base, protien, sauce, and veggies. Their purple noodles were delicious!! They are located in Blodgett Food Hall, and all their stores run out of kiosks, so there isn't an actual store front for any of their restaurants. You order at the kiosks from the restaurants they have and then wait for your order. We decided to dine in, but they do have to-go options and food delivery services. If you are in a rush or absolutely starving, I would recommend ordering your food ahead of arriving as it did take us over 30 minutes to get our food.
They offer great tofu and impossible beef options paired with delicious sauces. The bowls allow for great variety and veggies for a more balanced meal. The BOGO Free deal is awesome for planning ahead on a busy week or for ready-to-go meals.
I've tried it 3 times. Extremely hit or miss. Food should be a lot better for the price. A lot of sauces and ingredients are often forgotten or not added.
I love Moonbowls! This is my third time ordering and I've yet to be disappointed. Who knew healthy could taste so good. I'm trying to eat better and having gluten free options that don’t cause me to sacrifice flavor or meat is awesome.
I feel so bad saying this but MAN worst, most flavorless, repulsive food I have tasted in quite a while. I was astonished. It is difficult to get Asian food wrong but wow this establishment somehow managed to do it! I’m sorry but going here is such a disservice when there are so many good food places in Houston. Again, I’m flabbergasted. As I’m writing this I’m like dang how is this possible. I guess try it once. I also feel bad saying this bc anybody who gives this place a good review food wise has non existent taste buds. Out of the interest of public interest and love, this place should be shut down or it’s chefs and ingredients reevaluated. I’m sorry!
