5 Star Customer Service by T…..Here for work from Chicagoland and needed some soul food. Ribs and Catfish absolutely delicious especially the Catfish no hot sauce needed.

If you’re craving true, down home, Southern Soul food this is the place. Cornbread: Fantastic! Baked Chicken: Melt in your mouth tender! Okra: this was a style I’d never had before. Has shrimp and sausage! So so delicious! Mac n Cheese: just like grandma made Pork chop: my husband liked it so much he never even let me try it Come check them out!

Easy to find this place with maps, if you live near here you must give it a try. I was in the area running an errand, found this restaurant and gave a shot. I am full and satisfied, after asking the kind gentleman what the peoples favorites are he recommended a few. Fried fish, baked potatoes and ribs. I decided to go with “todays special” because it was baked chicken on a bed of rice and gravy plus two sides. Wow for like $14 bucks I had dinner and leftovers! Oh yeah a piece of homemade cornbread! I’d definitely drive here (from downtown HTX) to eat here again.

Delicious and fresh. Staff remembered me by name. Diverse selection of sides.
