Roostar - The Energy Corridor, Houston

The Bahn Mis here are quite different than the Bahn Mis at Vietnamese places in midtown. Both kinds are great, Roostar has more kewpie Mayo on it if I had to guess and tastes a bit different. The cost here is $2-3 more than midtown, so that’s somewhat of a factor. Other foods here are also

Food was delicious and received it quickly! If you get a box with the ribeye, choose the sweet chili sauce! The egg roll was good too! The lychee tea is so good you’ll have to get a refill. Overall great tasting food. Would definitely come back. The establishment was clean and service was great.

Yellow Curry is great! It’s made with traditional coconut milk, too. The box comes with a delicious pork egg roll. The portion size could have lasted me two meals.

This place when it just opened was super clean don’t know if they lost all their good workers or change management, but I went in yesterday and the lobby dining area was extremely dirty and the trash cans were overflowing full. Just really nasty! That I lost my appetite. This is a restaurant where people eat everything should be extremely clean!

Been a fan since they opened on Gessner. Steak and noodles is my go to meal.
