The Palm Downtown Houston

The bartender's services were outstanding. And forgive me, on the spelling, Ibrim maybe? I sat at their lovely bar as it was mid afternoon. Very attentive without being overly so. He even walked me to the area of the restroom when I inquired. The lobster bisque was phenomenal, as well as the Ceasar. One of the best I've ever had. However, the salt on the petite filet was a bit much, although cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend The Palm, lovely.

If you're looking for a great restaurant with the very best service you must add to your list of restaurants while in Houston. Try the jumbo lumped crab cake. Pure lumped crab meat. The Chilean Sea Bass is my favorite fish. When I tell you this was the best cooked ever is an understatement. That butter taste and a marinade sauce that's amazing. The drinks are not watered down. I stayed at the JW Marriott and it's walking distance to this amazing restaurant. Great choice!!! No military discount!!!

The bride and I celebrated our anniversary at “The Palm” and couldn’t have been happier! Our server Tony was wonderful and even the valet staff enhanced the experience. The food was great and the portions generous leftovers for days! Will be back.

The waiter seemed frazzled by a large group he was serving. And therefore we had to ask for basic things like water, refills on sodas for our young adult kids, and our own drinks. And we had to ask for menus in the beginning because he came to take our appetizer order and we hadn't even seen a menu at that point. But this was not what we have experienced in the past having eaten there many times. It has always been excellent in every aspect. So I'm thinking it was a fluke. But this is an honest review of this particular experience.

This was a private dinner party of 30 guests. Dumond (our head waiter) and the other servers were phenomenal highly recommend for corporate events
