MCA Cafe - The Rocks

A great little surprise. Walked through the museum and made our way upstairs to have a little drink at the cafe but when we saw the vista and open air dining, we decided to sit down and eat. A nice selection of food and drinks with an amazing vista over Circular Quay and Sydney harbour for a very reasonable price. We'll be back.

Hidden away on the fourth floor of the art gallery building in George st, friends and I have been here three times now, and each time found the food amazing - really innovative and tasty, and the service excellent.Today was no exception. Within five minutes of ordering and sitting down, we had four amazing lunch dishes in front of us. Mine was the Tostadas which I highly recommend. Really good service, excellent food, and ring side seats on one of the worlds most beautiful harbors. It doesn't get much better

Nice to sit in the sun and sip coffee looking out over the harbour/bay. The cafe has a range of food which looks enticing. Nice atmosphere.

Visited for lunch. Fantastic views. A great menu. Sadly servers are not accommodating or friendly and this place should look to hire much more professional staff as they ruin the experience.

I called in here for afternoon coffee and cake. The Chocolate and Hazelnut cake (GF) was delicious, but the coffee was slow to arrive and tasted a bit burnt (maybe Sydneysiders like their coffee burnt - I noticed this as a trend during my visit).
