It was a classic gift shop with mass produced trinkets sold at high prices.
I really liked this place once THE FOOD IS now mediocre and prices are high.THE SETTING is worth quite a bit in my opinion. IT NEVER seems to be super BUSY . So you can get a SCENIC table. MY wife likes it so we used to go a couple of times a year .They have breakfast too. The old place burned and was rebuilt after being sold to a former employee.Times have changed. She is very nice. It's just not the same, sad to say.Still a great view. Not so great food and prices. Inflation has struck.Probably a struggle for her the ,owner.
Took SO LONG for the food, but it was pretty good. amazing view and the brain games at our table kept us busy while we waited. nice assortment of things to buy, purchased a cute stuffed animal. nice employees and servers. the binoculars at our table were also fun to fiddle with.
After having many delicious breakfasts through the years finally decided to try lunch at the Seagull. I'm sad to say it was not a good experience. My husband and I split the scallop basket for $30 (same price as dinner). There were 5 scallops that were tough and had no flavor with breading that fell off. They were on top of just okay french fries. The coleslaw was bitter and inedible. My sister had the fried whole belly clam basket, also $30. They were the worst fried clams she'd ever had (I had to agree). Dry, flavorless, no belly to speak of. Same okay french fries and inedible coleslaw. The only good parts of the experience were a side order of very tasty onion rings and of course, the amazing view. Very disappointing!
