Oriental Palace Chinese - Theodore

Great food, great service! The cook even came out of the kitchen to greet the guests. The staff was very friendly and personable. Eating here was an enjoyable experience all around.

I can't say enough about this wonderful restaraunt! It is a great stop to/from/near Dauphin Island. We have dined here half a dozen times and it has been fantastic EVERY time. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and they remember you! The food is delicious, you will not be disappointed. Our compliments to the chef. You must stop here!

Found this gem and so glad we did. First they are amazing people. So freindly, very helpful with explaining all the dishes.The best dumplings we have ever had. I don't even need sauce with them. I absolutely love the egg foo yung and my husband is also now a huge fan. Their sauce is different than most and just amazing. My Son is a huge fan of the orange chicken and I will agree that it is also great. Soups are wonderful, and combo fried rice too. As long as we are in town this will be our Chinese spot.

Ordered take-out twice and both times were delicious and enjoyable. Next time we'd like to eat in, and really get to look at the wonderful artwork from the owner's kids. (The art gallery is a bonus! Really good food, but the friendliness of the people is one of my favorite parts of the restaurant. My only suggestion: more rice with the meals, more garlic in the garlic dishes, and the steamed dumplings less mushy. By tasty tasty and I can't wait to go have more! Thank you!

We have enjoyed our visit to Oriental Palace for at least 15 years. The restaurant is always clean, the service is always polite and professional, I have allergies and take special care when preparing my food and the food is delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant the best overall South of Interstate 10.
