Feedback gevenWe were in this restaurant for an hour and a half. Cheese curds took about 40 minutes and were very soggy. We finally got our food and my fish was SO greasy and undercooked, I didn't eat a bite of anything on my plate. Server was MIA until the end. My husband told her we wouldn't be paying for the fish. She said we should've told her and I said we would've if she had come around, and then she told me I should've come to find her...ummm no. As a former server, I have never not left a tip, but this was a first for me. There were other petty things that weren't good, but I dont want to write a novel here. Bad service, bad food.
Omg. What a treasure in small town Theresa. Jim made my friend and I feel right at home after a 4 hour kayaking jaunt. The best brick curds in WI, I believe the only brick curds in WI and the best patty melt I have ever had. Can't wait to return. Yum!
Great experience..nice clean bar..good selection of beers..owner was involved and friendly..had the Widmer brick cheese fried curds..nicely breaded and creamy..the jalapeño cheese bacon burger was prepared perfectly..served on a nice kaiser roll with house made potato chips...definitely worth the trip!
The finest pub food you will ever find! Locally sourced ingredients (Widmer Cheese factory is just down the block) home made recipes and made to perfection by historian bartender owner. The only thing equal to the food is listening to the history of the beautiful little town you're visiting.
On Sunday he took care of that whole place all by yourself, food was good service was good and as usual you're atmosphere was great, thanks for all your hard work!
