His Moscow mule is the best I’ve tasted and the smoke and spice is an awesome, well balanced drink that you could get hooked on…. Appetizer: The brussels with halloumi drizzled with balsamic raspberry is an experience not to miss. The 6 oz filet mignon with greens beans were perfectly done. Then add the truffle fries for a truly sublime meal.
Amazing food, wine, and service! Get the crawfish cheesecake and thank me later!
My husband and I went to Cinclare for the second time this past weekend. Our first visit was great a couple of years ago, we figured it would be the perfect place for our tenth anniversary. Unfortunately we had Emily as our waitress who made the overall experience quite uncomfortable. Service was slow and every interaction with her felt painfully awkward. The crawfish cheesecake was very obviously burnt, but it took so long to get to us we weren’t going to send it back and wait for another. The sides to our entrees were either cold or kind of bland. The one redeeming factor was that the filet mignon was absolutely perfect. We chocked it up to just being an off night, decided to skip dessert and the other drinks we were planning on ordering, but left pretty disappointed. Much to our surprise when we checked our bank app a few days later, we had a $148 charge pending in addition to what we spent. The waitress never mentioned to us that she accidentally charged us for someone else’s bill. This is a place you could easily rack up a $500+ tab, I think a little more consideration should be used. My husband called the manager who offered us drinks and an appetizer, which is nice in theory, but we have busy lives and a young family. We can’t squeeze that in anytime soon. All that to say, if Emily is your server, request someone else.
Ate at the bar for a weekend dinner. Service and atmosphere were nice, I liked the space. Good cocktail list and a large selection of bourbons. Of the two starters the French onion soup was decent, the crab fat Caesar salad was...not. Somehow even with the cheese and dressing it felt like we were just eating plain lettuce. The entree, oyster and squash agnolotti sounded really good but the execution was off. Pasta was dry, the filling was overly salty, and the style of the fried oysters seemed out of place, more appropriate for a beer and fries. The sesame see creme brulee was decent.
Omg! I cannot begin to exclaim the the awesome food at this establishment! From the appetizers to the entrees, the food, the wine were perfectly paired! What a Culinary art experience! The Pork Shank is a must!
