Fnb - Thimphu

Wonderful service. Wonderful food. FNB is one of the most consistently excellent food experiences in Thimphu. Thai and Indian food is great. Must visit.

Clean and a tad more upscale. Mixture of food including Bhutanese, Thai, pizza, pasta. An odd mix but it’s great because there’s something for everyone. Showed up intending to have Bhutanese but the waitress mentioned that they specialize in Thai so we went that route. Fantastic laarb, minced pork omelette, and spicy minced pork. Did not disappoint.

It is a centrally located complex with beautiful views of the city intersection! I liked her themes and art on every table. I found some great and rare artworks and photos on their walls that swallowed me most of the time while waiting for my order. Your meals are great. The ambience is so warm and peaceful. It's really a great place to be with your family and friends! Since it is located on a busy street, you may need to find a parking space somewhere else and take a walk. I would recommend this great place to anyone who wants to explore a new place with great food!

Our guide recommended some western restaurant around the corner, but thankfully it was closed. We stumbled in FnB and were so happy to find it! The food was authentic, fresh and delicious! Appropriately expensive and gave us a real taste of Bhutan. Best dishes? A bit of everything expect a lot of cheese and hot spices!
