Eating was phenomenal. we both loved it. but the server. she immediately greeted us and brought us drinks and then took our food order. she came by shortly after eating to make sure everything was in order. she came back when we were half finished and asked if we wanted to dessert. we rejected. then she came back and asked if we wanted ours to be filthy that my husband would still eat. she delivered our sack and then came back while we still eat to see if we put our card in her. my man stopped paying his wallet. then she finally left us alone to eat the rest of our food.
I was on my way up to my place here after a long four hour drive. Been dying to try this place. Ordered from the car 15 minutes or so away from Thomaston on a Monday evening. I had the pulled pork sliders with hand cut fries. They were fantastic, nice smoky pulled pork flavor and coleslaw topping on nice slider buns. I ordered a side of corn bread and an ear if corn. The corn bread tasted like home baked and the corn was yummy. Everything was well packed for my 10 minute drive away and I unpacked and served on a plate when I got into my house. I can’t wait to come back again. This is a real addition to the MidCoast area. Highly recommend!

Visited 04/23/2022 New ownership has it nearly perfectly calibrated. Highlights included a great full rack of ribs, expertly cooked and complemented tableside with a choice of 4 homemade sauces all great. The baked bean side dish was exquisite, if you can say that about baked beans. It was dark and rich, with perfectly cooked navy beans and chunks of pork belly. Perhaps most importantly, the beans weren't overly sweet, which meant truly enjoying the sauce as well as the beans. My partner had blackened haddock tacos, which hit the savory mark without crossing the incendiary boundary. An appetizer of chili queso nachos was surprisingly good, with nice bits of jalapeno in the cheese.A minor miss was the mac n cheese side, which appeared to be simple elbow pasta dressed with a mild cheese sauce. It wasn't bad, but clearly didn't get the same attention as the baked beans side dish. I really wanted to try the sliced beef brisket, but it was only available pulled for lunch, when we were there. The sliced version is only on the dinner menu.We really loved the friendly, inviting atmosphere of the converted gas station and the funny, capable wait staff. We'll be going back as soon as possible. Highly recommended. Personally rated at 4.3 stars.
