Feedback gevenIn the midst of a move and with limited pizza options in Thomasville, Alabama, I found myself at Pizza Hut, tasked with feeding seven hungry movers. The staff at this Pizza Hut location deserve commendation for their commendable efforts and teamwork. Despite the challenges they faced, they were doing their utmost to ensure all customers were served promptly and efficiently. However, it was evident that their systems were not supporting their efforts adequately. A notable incident involved a lady from a local school who was accustomed to a certain price for their pizzas. Due to a special offer, the computer was not recognizing the usual price, leading to confusion and frustration. Despite multiple explanations and demonstrations by the staff, the customer remained adamant about obtaining the price she had in mind, causing a delay for other customers with large orders. A young man from the team was particularly patient and gracious in handling the situation. He tried numerous times to calm the lady and ensure her satisfaction. It is a reminder that while you can't please everyone, good customer service is about trying your best to do so. However, from the incident, it is clear that part of the problem stemmed from their systems. It would be beneficial for both the staff and customers if this is addressed promptly to avoid similar issues in the future. Despite the hiccup, I can't fault the staff's hard work and dedication amidst adversity.
