After being seated, we waited for a long time without any attention. To make matters worse, the manager called all the staff into the kitchen and started yelling at them about receiving poor reviews due to their service. This went on for about 10 minutes and made for a very uncomfortable atmosphere for the customers. It's evident that she likes to micromanage. We waited around for about 15 minutes without any service, and when another couple arrived after us, they were seated and attended to while we were completely ignored. Since we couldn’t place an order, we can’t comment on the food, but we left feeling very disappointed. Training should definitely take place outside of restaurant hours, or at least should be handled quietly so that customers don’t have to listen to it while they wait.
Thompson Grill is a popular spot among the locals. During my last visit to Thompson Falls, I inquired about a good lunch place, and everyone recommended Thompson Grill.

It seemed like the manager had a penchant for micromanagement. After waiting for another 15 minutes, we still hadn’t received any service. A couple who arrived after us was attended to while we were completely ignored by the waitress, making it impossible for us to place an order. We eventually left feeling disappointed and frustrated. I believe that training should be conducted outside of service hours or at least done quietly, so that customers aren’t subjected to it while they wait for assistance.
