We 've had 2 experiences with this restaurant, the first being a luke warm fried rice without any heat of the wok. Only possibility was that they had pre cooked this. Not great. Any food that had an element of deep frying, eg pork ribs or crispy fried chicken etc, have been pre fried and stored in the freezer. We had the King Pork Ribs, all we tasted was fresh water from the frozen ice when it was frozen. The pork was very dry and brought back memories of a very overdone jerky. The way I read it, they had recklessly selected their pork...in the Asian world, male pork is a NO NO. They stink. Their crispy chicken was the same, it had the frozen taste to it, and very dry. Nothing more to say about it, you get the pic. Most have had great experiences but not me. I had takeaway, perhaps it was an opportunity to rid of some old produce. The only positive was the size of the serve, generous to say the least. But one truck load of **** doesn 't compare to one tiny plate of YUMMY food. We had take away, so most of the food ended up in the bin. My 2 girls and wife didn 't eat much. We ended up having to make some last minute fried eggs with tomatoes with a drip of chicken stock and a sprinkle of bean sprouts. NOT great, unsure how they have had that many positive reviews.
There were so many great offers for lunch and we couldn't decide what to have. It took us awhile to order and the waitress was so impatient with us. She kept rushing us to order and had a bit of attitude serving us. I'll go back if I'm desperate ? good food tho. We had braised duck rice, loh mee and Thai chicken rice.
Great tasting authentic southeast Asian food. Friendly service, food is served quickly and prices are good.
The satay sauce was watery and generic curry flavour. Packed full of cauliflower and onion with almost no trace of peanuts and there was approximately 5 skinny pieces of beef. The sweet and sour sauce was not any better and was so watery that the dishwater would probably have tasted better. This place is a rip off.
