I don't eat so often there, but I wanted to leave an evaluation to recommend this brilliant little kitchen (also 10/10 for the charming, seemingly-grumpy onkel, who always asks me how many small rolls I want when I approach. he's actually a top-load, not being set off from his abruptness!
This is the place to go if after some steamed buns or bao. So far, I have tried out all their steamed buns and always so good. My personal favourite are the big bun and red bean paste buns. We tried their sticky rice which taste okay.
Many dishes are delicious and pricing is reasonable. Among all the dishes, Chai Tow Kueh, Big Pau, Loh Bak are my favorite. The uncle is patient and helpful. Hope they keep up with their good work.
The chai tow koay was good. Char siew bao and lor mai kai were mediocre. Not much of a service; it's a food court after all. Probably will try other baos
Char tow kway was delicious and authentic. The big pork bun was fluffy and had a good ratio of skin to filling. The filling was juicy and tender. The staff were happy to accommodate my request of having less oil and salt in the char tow kway. Will be back definitely!
