I recently revisited this cafe after a few years and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the food and coffee that the new owners have introduced to this wonderful spot. The service was prompt, professional, and friendly. The food was delicious, fresh, and prepared with attention to detail. Their homemade sourdough bread was outstanding, and the coffee was also very good. I highly recommend stopping by for a satisfying lunch during your visit to the Daintree.
We stopped for lunch on the way back from Cape Tribulation to Port Douglas. There weren't many places open, so it was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it, plus we had a beautiful view of the beach. It was a nice stop on our journey.
We visited this restaurant over a decade ago and remembered our previous visits fondly, so we were thrilled to return. The setting is picturesque and the food was even better. I had the exquisite tofu in broth and I wish I could go back tomorrow for more. Having worked in the restaurant industry for many years, I am seldom impressed by vegan dishes, but this one really stood out. The children also enjoyed their nuggets and chips. A big thank you to the chef and the attentive staff. It's clear that you all take pride in your work.
Delicious I can’t eat bread so asked to have the corned beef and sauerkraut on a plate and received this large portion on salad greens sooo good!!
