It looked as tho they don’t clean unless someone comes in. The waitress was really cool about wiping the tables down but i couldn’t stand eating where inside seeing literally old food on the ground. lastly the cashier/ manager will not greet you or thank you for coming in. I can’t with the service any longer.
The food is amazing! I had a shrimp burrito. It was huge! I apologize for not having the picture of when I 1st got the burrito. I was so hungry I couldn't wait started eating. Horchata is perfect as well. The service was ok. It took the server too long to take my order after drinks. I asked for some ice water but they forgot. I was sitting by the bar which is why I'm a little disappointed with the service. I understand Fridays can be busy. But I wasn't asking for much. I will definitely come here again. The servers weren't rude. They Just simply forgot. Will try again soon.
El Mariachi on Torrence has a feel like a cantina and in general does not disappoint. The music is a moderate level of Mexican that one would expect at a restaurant like this. Seating is refurbished and it looks like it's an old, converted bar, but everything is clean, lighting is excellent and there's ample space for small groups.Prices are at a modest markup but good quality $20ish for lunch plates, $25-30 for dinner helping. Portions are not overkill which is nice. Some of the style of cooking is slightly different from my experience but still tasty. Had the enchiladas and their shredded chicken was good.Staff is very attentive and friendly, so tip fairly. Their guacamole is definitely worth getting Vegetarian options: It's a Mexican restaurant so there are always vegetarian options. Cheese will, however, be a common occurrence in those, so full vegan might take more work. Parking: Parking is sufficient in the open lot next to the restaurant.
I love the food here. The prices have really gone up.
My first and last visit for this overpriced food, which was very bland., even their verdes sauce had no taste. My.Margarita on the rocks didn't taste like alcohol was even added, so i had to order an extra shot for it.. I ordered a combination dinner, but wasn"t allowed to switch between beef and or chicken. Also, the waitress wasn't friendly or welcoming at all. Plenty of Mexican restaurants to choose from, so don't waste your money here.
