I'd have a tough time back. Service was probably the worst thing I experienced in many years, food was worth eating, but not much more than that. Was really hoping for better.
Excellent place to meet and eat, beautiful atmosphere, clean service very good, food and drink beautiful, service-friendly, staff very helpful
My wife and I have lived in town for over a year, and when we feel like eating, but don't feel like driving in Leduc or Edmonton, this place has been our way. I think that could change after tonight. Just for the full disclosure, we sat in the lounge on the back of the restaurant, but as they share the same menu and the kitchen, I felt that the rating is more than valid. We sat first on the restaurant side, but you said that the wing night Wednesday deal was only available on the lounge side... for whatever reason. In any case, we have made our way and were welcomed (I use this term loosely) with cold indifference. The waitress, though I'm sure she's meant well and maybe after a long day was tired, didn't really seem to want to be there or really a damn thing about what was going on. It seemed as if she was annoyed by someone except the few regulars. We ordered hot wings, one pound for my wife and two for me. Instead, we were given a pound that (most) was a small inconvenience, because the first impressions of the wings were quite negative. The first few bites quickly confirmed these impressions. Coated, boiled and very coarse. Everything you want DON 'T in a chicken wing. We hate being these people, so we have finished most of them, but this is a decision that I will regret now, as I sit here, to type this with a shameful, museal pit in my stomach (This can be just a placebo effect, but be hard to say. Hello food poisoning? Time will say it). I'm really sad to have had such a bad experience in a place that wasn't long ago a big little town hole on the wall to go. I know some people will say Well, what did you expect from a small town restaurant on cheap wings night? Food and friendly service is what. People who have a fucking job, at least enough to not get sick. Maybe it's the new management, I don't know. Whatever the case is, this was a colossal disappointment, and I would seriously advise everyone to go here. Save time and money, go somewhere else.
Thought we’d go back for a pizza and ordered the chefs mistake. The title was right, it was a huge mistake. My first piece tasted of charcoal. Lifting the crust it was black. I called the waitress over and she took the pizza back. The...chef came out and asked me what was wrong with it. I showed him the black crust and he told me that was how it’s supposed to be. In his broken English he told me that I did not know a good pizza when I saw it but that he was not mad at me for wasting his time. I let him have it about his disrespect and that this was not what a pizza should look like for a crust. He tried to “anger manage” me and started taking pictures of me. I did swear at him for being the stupidest chef in the country and left. The restaurant has changed considerably over the last couple years. It might be good for a soup or a dried out sandwich just don’t expect respect or service
