Black Horse - Three Rivers

Very accommodating and allowed us to move to a more suitable table. Everyone enjoyed their food immensely and there is a good choice of gluten free options. I opted for the fish and chips, large portion and most enjoyable...it's a shame it arrived 15 minutes after everyone else's food.

Really nice pub ,very good and attentive staff unfortunately the food let it down Roasts used to be so good here always packed difficult to get a table alas it's changed

Been meaning to leave a review for a very long time, however managed to forget..probably due to the fantastic friendly service we always receive from the team. We are always welcomed with open arms and the team bend over backwards to accommodate us. I must shout out the whole team… they’re all amazing… however, Becks has served us since we first started coming here, since moving in locally, before Jason the Head Chef joined, she was the main reason for our return. Jason joined, the food has been out of this world… I would recommend the roasts they’re delicious! The beef is served pink and the vegetables are cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It’s always a pleasure coming to visit The Black Horse and we cannot recommend it enough. Final shout out to Becks, Jason… our favourites… and of course Harry, Layla, Ben, Jess, Jack and Ollie.

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. We placed two large orders for our table, but each order was missing one item. Despite repeatedly asking the staff for the missing items, we were ignored. While everyone else at the table finished their meals, two people were still waiting for their food. We continuously asked for the missing items as the staff kept cleaning our table, but they kept assuring us that the food was on its way. After waiting for 50 minutes, we had to seek out the manager who informed us that the cook had missed the ticket for our items. He promised us the food would arrive in 5 minutes, but we had to constantly remind and follow up with the staff. Finally, after 15 minutes of wait, we were served the missing items.

Booked an early table to beat the nice weather crowds. Best Sunday lunch we’ve had in absolute yonks. Wouldn’t say it was cheap but still well worth the extra few quid for the quality. Lots of veggie and pescatarian options. Dog friendly and very hospitable welcome.
