Beaux Daddy's Grillhouse - Thunder Bay

I went to this restaurant with a group of six people. Some ordered appetizers while others went straight for the main courses. The restaurant has a Louisiana smokehouse style and the decor resembles a New Orleans building.

Moment.Wherever you look, every detail has been carefully thought out. The ambiance is peaceful and inviting. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, dining at this restaurant feels like a comforting experience that you never want to end.

The food was excellent. The restaurant has streamlined its menu, which was a positive change. However, it took approximately 30 minutes to receive our burgers and even longer to receive our bill.

We've had mixed experiences here in the past and although it's been up and down, we came here to eat after a long and very tiring day. To be fair, it was 1/2 hour before close and the menu was limited because of that so in a sense I guess that's good since I know that what I'm eating will not be a reheat again the next day! The server was very pleasant and we discovered that she went to school with our youngest son. The food was a fair portion and warm on this visit so that's a plus. I will always be skeptical about this place as we've tried on 4 separate occasions and it's been 50/50 but in a pinch when wanting more than a burger or fries, this is a good sit down dining experience if the timing and staff are the more reliable ones.
