Pizza Hut - Thunder Bay

We ordered some pizza for dinner and when we went to pick it up we had to wait another 30 min for it

After driving for the day just wanted to have a quick meal close to our hotel so we stopped in at a family favorite. To bad this store only had take-away as we all needed a break from the drive and had to take our selection back to the hotel and eat in the room.

Okay so, I usually love this place, but this waitress made it soo annoying. So our server was named Jacquelyn, she was friendly enough. She got our pizza order wrong, we didn't get upset and just ate the pizza anyway,(we order red pepper on our pizza and did not get that). We also order an appetizer, and she forgot about it completely (thankfully she didn't add it to our bill) We ended up ordering a lot of food and were pretty stuffed so, in the end, we decided not to say anything, but she did not give us what we ordered. Up until then, we were just a little annoyed but then it got a lot worse. We found a long brown HAIR in the wings, we didn't say anything and ate our remaining food that wasn't contaminated. At this point she forgot our apps, she got the pizza wrong, and there was a hair in the wings, but that wasn't what annoyed me the most. Worst of all though was that the waitress kept hounding us with the bill as we were eating. She came to our table maybe 3 times in the hour we were there asking us when we wanted the bill, that got so annoying. We still had more than half our pizza and some breadsticks left. The restaurant was nearly empty, it was around 7, and she kept pushing us for the check. I felt so uncomfortable, so annoyed, and really frustrated as she made us feel so unwelcome. She came to table for the final time and asked if we wanted 1 bill or 2, thinking she meant for later (when we finished), we said 2, and there she was a minute later telling us to pay as we were still eating and making us feel like we had to leave. This sucked, we wanted to take out time eating as the restaurant only had: one man sitting at the bar, and one other couple sitting a booth away from us. I love their food, and usually their service, but this was unacceptable, and I definitely won't be coming back for a while.

We took out had it in our hotel room. The hotel offered a pizza for about the same price, but we decided to go with something we knew.

I have visited this place 3 times in the last 2 months when I am in town. Love the pizza and their Greek salad. Too bad they can never get their act together on the service. I’ve tried going at different times but it never gets better. Expect to wait and wait and wait for your order to be taken. Always say they are really busy despite all the empty tables. I’ve given up now and will go elsewhere.
