The best breakfast spot in Thunder Bay without a doubt! If you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or brunch, this is the place to go! Everything is homemade and exceptional!

The food is scrumptious. The owner was extremely friendly and sweet. The decor is very rustic and we loved the experience. We had the specials and the chicken and waffles Benedict. The second time we went, we had the red pepper pasta and the trio plate with two salads and a soup.

I recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks. A true hidden gem in Thunder Bay. Their food, service and small home style restaurant is absolutely the best in this city. The eggs benedict is a favourite, actually ALL of their breakfast is outstanding. We crave their food and love the kindness that exudes from the owners.

Had an amazing omelette at the Blue Door Bistro. Unforgettable in fact. My partner had the eggs benedict which he said was stellar. The owners come and chat with you and make sure you are enjoying your meal. Great customer service. Parking can be a bit challenging if you don't want to park I the nearby parade. Child friendly.

We were fortunate to win the Valentine's Day contest put on by The Blue Door Bistro! We decided to take our toddler with us so we could all enjoy a great meal. The 4 courses we did enjoy were beautifully plated and delicious! In the midst of our 5th course, our little guy wasn't feeling well and Craig and Hollie were so professional, empathetic and quick to get us the last of our 6 courses to go. I can't even begin to describe the quality of the food and the art in preparing it. What a great experience we'll definitely be back!
