Excellent lunch and small town friendliness. Brought a Key Lime Pie home and it ranked with those from Key West, Boca Grande and Captiva Island. Drove an extra to revisit in Fall after last Summers yummy lunch. And it was worth the drive. Had the famous Broasted Chicken which has a crispy, crunchy well seasoned exterior with juicy chicken at each bite. Instead of taking home a pie, ate their Peanut Butter Explosion cake and Caramel Apple Pie with ice cream. Both were fantastic..see the pictures for a view. We stopped at about 9 a.m. Saturday. Very well maintained restaurant in beautiful Thurmont Maryland. I had what they call a breakfast bowl and my wife a breakfast sandwich. The breakfast bowl was very good. A unique breakfast option. The waitress was awesome, in fact,all the ladies were. They kept that coffee coming. A wonderful morning experience. Thank you. Food: 5

Great food and atmosphere. The restaurant accommodated us, a party of 15 and we were able to sit in the private back room. Great service and delicious food!
