I really really wanted to like this place. It has nice decor. I ordered the chickpea and potato curry. It arrived in 5 minutes, so not freshly cooked. Unfortunately it also wasn’t hot I had to send it back to be reheated. It tasted okay but I was reluctant to finish it. Also, there were no chickpeas. The lady serving spoke English, but she and the staff seemed to be laughing at me. Honestly I’ve had better food at smaller places in Tibet. Pretty much every restaurant will at least have vegetable fried rice which will be freshly made, hot and tasty.
The place is super cozy, totally tibetan, with very beautiful decoration and lovely staffthere are great options for vegans vegetarians! i love the special vegetarian momos with spicy saucethere’s good tofu and nice salads. there’s a delicious lentil soupalso has options if you’re traveling with non vegan friends. the cold chocolate cake is super yum!! and the variety of tea combinations is a delight. i’m always happy when i go there ;
