We chose the glasshouse tavern for a birthday dinner as we thought it would be a bit more intimate and we were right, we were almost the only people in the tavern, bar one other small family who were in and out pretty quickly. The service seemed pretty decent, middle aged lady behind the bar who seemed to know what she was doing and was friendly enough. Most of us were pretty happy with our meals, bar a few people saying their chicken parmi 's were drenched in oil etc. We put a game of keeno on went to check our ticket around 8pm all to be told that it 's all been shut down for the night? I think that 's a little slack they didn 't notify anyone before doing this. The real disappointment came when they flicked the lights off on at 9pm to signal they wanted us to leave it was a Saturday night too. Look, we are reasonable people and we understand there are wages to pay and we were literally the only table that was left HOWEVER, someone could 've approached us and let us know hey guys, we are going to be closing in half an hour, just wanted to give you guys a heads up not just flick the lights off. Then we are out in the back car park saying goodbye after being basically pushed out the door and they flicked the light off not long after, so we were left in pitch black darkness! Safe to i won 't be coming back any time soon.
I got banned for writing my last review. Says it all.
Disgusting customer service. The manager messages patrons who leave a negative review, accuses them of slander and threatens them with legal action. Don’t provide patrons with a platform to review the establishment of you can’t handle constructive criticism ????
The outback burger is yum and I recommend the Iron Jack lager. Friendly and helpful staff.
