What a great offer for American brunch south of the border. Chicken and waffles, breakfast burgers and El Slam... add an Americano or latte and you pay less than you for breakfast at a fast food place upstairs in SD. Loved the friendly and attentive... server that didn't leave a relaxed Vibe compromise great service. The interior and exterior of the café, with the repeated hexagonal motif and plants, made it a great place to relax and spend a good time.

5 star breakfast! La Tapa was amazing. Really delicate, delicious! For those who do not know it is soft toast, with guacamole, eggs and bacon above. It melts in your mouth!! Coffee was good

The food is pretty good. The café is beautiful. Great decoration. Very impressed by the design. Makkaroni is very well served in an iron harness, although the part is relatively small.

My friends and I tried this restaurant last week. My friend had a bad experience, but decided to give him a second chance. The ambience was beautiful. We had a big group and the service was bad. The restaurant had only one chef and...for menu that his bride...no brisket! I ordered the fish sandwich and my friends ordered other items. A group oh twelve came in, we ordered and were served immediately and their orders were brought before us. When our food came out, it was cold! Amazing that something lasted so long, and it was cold as brought out. We made jokes that they received our orders! Anyway, a very poor gist on a Thursady afternoon.

I waited 45 minutes after ordering the baked chicken. I cut into it and it was absolutely pink with pink juices flowing. Imagine 45 minutes to NOT cook the food! The sodas are stored warm and served with 2 ice cubes in a Mason...jar (the Mason jar is a nice touch). However, the ice was insufficient to chill the soda and a request for more ice was met with a snarl. When I showed the waitress that the chicken was raw she was very nasty...kind of snarled as she took it away. No apology, no acknowledgement of this error by the kitchen just a nasty attitude. She returned and threw the check on the table. I paid (with exact change) and walked out. The ambiance is nice, but the service is abominable and the food is downright dangerous.
