Southern Roots - Tillamook

Wow! This restaurant is a must-visit. The food is incredible, and the atmosphere is delightful. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The green salad is the best I've ever had! The menu features an array of delicious options, including mac and cheese, coconut cake, hummingbird cake, a rich death by chocolate cake, pulled pork nachos, ribs, and so much more. The list keeps going! You definitely need to try this place; it will quickly become one of your favorites too!

And the desserts? They’re out of this world! We sampled four: the apple cinnamon cobbler (my husband's favorite), the chocolate decadence cake (homemade and divine), the pecan pie (almost as good as what my Aunt Doris makes in Texas), and the coconut cake (my personal favorite). Everything is freshly made, and you can really feel the Southern vibe here. As someone with Texan roots, I can confidently say this is the best BBQ you’ll find west of Texas. They even serve sweet tea and homemade lemonade! The restaurant is nestled in a charming campground, complete with local rabbits hopping around on the grass. If you're lucky, you might catch some live Bluegrass music playing in the background. I truly love this place—I even refer to it as my local grocery store whenever I'm in Tillamook. Don’t miss out on this gem when you visit! It is the REAL DEAL!!!

Stop by and you’ll fall in love with this place! The food is fantastic, the sweet tea is delightful, and the hospitality is exceptional! I’ve enjoyed meeting people from Mississippi during my vacation, and I can’t wait to return soon. Go Rebels!

Amazing food and good people! Having lived in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and spending lots of time in Kentucky eating barbecue, this was like going home. Can't wait to see where they go and what they smoke from here!!!(wings? �oh and don't forget the desserts; the hummingbird cake and lemon cake are awesome can't wait to try others.
