Restaurant Timisoreana - Timişoara

I've been there multiple times and i enjoyed every single time. The place where you can find traditional romanian food and good beer.

Good for traditional Romanian lunch, gets a bit busy on weekday lunches, though. Nice traditional soups, and grilled pork and traditional dessert donuts, papanasi, with blueberries on top.

I was a regular guest in this restaurant for many years. It had authentic and quality local food with live countrymusic. Now I dropped in again and I realised that the restaurant changed their menu, but more important and annoying factor was that they do...not offer English menu, nor (at least) German, just Romanian. Speaking about a city with various culture and possible tourists from all over the world. And for God's shake, we are in the center of 3rd biggest city of Romania! Shame. To summary: clearly they do not focus on tourists, additionally you have rude and impolite waiter with poor english. Also the quality of food was awful, I had the worst steak in my life for sure. I regret going in this place and never ever go back again.

Tasty place, but service is horrible. Go, eat and leave because no one there is gonna talk to you anyways
