Orders are taken at the back window and can only be eaten on site, but you can also call ahead for pickup. I tried the black bean burger with vegan garlic aioli and a nutty vanilla smoothie, while my friend had crumbled tempeh with a peanut butter smoothie. Both dishes were delicious. The menu is mostly vegan, with the option to substitute cheese for vegan cheese for an extra dollar. They also have a small soup bar with vegan options, such as carrot and mushroom barley. I tried the carrot soup and it was fantastic. The service was very friendly and I will definitely be returning to this place.
The restaurant has a great selection of vegan wraps and sandwiches, along with fresh juices. Waiting times can be a bit long, so it's best to call ahead and place your order in advance.
I underestimated this restaurant at first, thinking it was just a small health food spot. I had been shopping at The Natural for years but never tried The Wild Carrot until now. I regret waiting so long, as the Vegan Club Sandwich was amazing. It was so flavorful and filled with fresh ingredients. I also tried a smoothie while waiting and it was delicious. I wish I had tried this place sooner!
Love this place...big diversity and great tasting...
I was doing a bit of taste testing over at McCormick and used the new HappyCow app to locate a spot to grab some lunch afterwards and thought this place was going to be 'THE spot. ' The service was slow and the food was pretty bland. I had the lentil burger with a side of rosemary potatoes. I also had one of the freshly juiced specials. My order took forever to be ready and I had to go back to the counter (where they attempted to charge me again) prior to leaving to request my potatoes. The burger was tasteless (the pickles were the hero of the whole sandwich for me) and when I did get the fries...I wished that I hadn 't spent money on them. Although the three people working that day did some joking around together-they didn 't have any friendly interaction with the customers. And for it to be such a tiny spot, it 'd be nice if the people standing 5ft away from you could send a smile your way (if not some polite chatter). Oh yeah, there were two kids (I believe the children of someone that works there) just all over the place and a bit in the way.
