Philly Diner (essington)

My husband and I showed up at diner only to find a lock on the door. We looking forward to eating there after a long drive. On the website it's says it's open for business. Think they should updated their website.

Wow! First of all Philly Diner in NJ?? Decided to try this place as a change of pace. So 50-60's looking that I did not think they would have anything upscale for dinner. I was so WRONG! I ordered the bourbon chicken and my other half ordered the lemon chicken. The salad was nice and crisp. The main event was nothing short of picture worthy! First the bourbon chicken: WOW are the first words that came to mind. Tender chicken in an out of this world sauce. The grilled veggies were also spectacular. The Lemmon chicken was two large pieces of tender and flavorful chicken in a notable Lemmon sauce. OMG so full and sooo content. This place can compete with pricier restaurants with no problem! Blessings upon the chef for these two outrageously delicious dishes. From casual to upscale try this place.
