The Explorers Tea Room - TINTAGEL

We visited yesterday with our dogs, we had one of the best cream tees we ever had. primrose cottage is a small jewel away from the commercial art coffee shops, beautiful friendly owners / staff who greets us and the dogs, great service and the cake selection was amazing! definitely be back when we are back in the opposite.

Proper tea room traditional cornish cream tea. Lots of freshly baked cakes, plus breakfast menu from full English to bacon butties. Salads and ploughman choices, tea n coffee plus alcoholic drinks with good friendly service !!

My friend and I ate the english vegetarian breakfast and it was all yummy. Maximum score for coffee, great quality. Friendly staff. Modest and cozy space!

This charming little tea room has a lovely selection of menus. I had a delicious melted cheese bag with speck that was fantastic. The indoor seating is somewhat limited, but there are a few tables set up outside. They seem to be expanding a bit more. I visited on October 25, 2020.

The tea room is lovely, and the owners are delightful. We enjoyed a wonderful conversation with them and felt at home, as if we could stay for hours. I can’t wait to visit again!
