Nettie's - Tinton Falls

The food was very good, but I cannot believe the prices. We were recommended to get appetizers so we got spinach and cauliflower sides. The spinach came in a container the size of a small coffee cup $15). Got 3 pieces of cauliflower for $18. Total robbery! The special of the day was rigatoni and meatballs, wasn't a large portion, and was nearly $40. The waitress said it was family style so we were expecting bigger portions. Had to use the phone flashlight to see the menu because it was so dark. The menu is very limited--didn't see any of the suggestions on this review to comment on on the menu at all. I had been wanting to go there since it opened since I live down the street. Just can't afford to go back. The bill for 3 people with tip came to over $200 and for what was served, definitely not priced right. Update: realized I never got my leftovers after the waitress offered to pack it up.

I cannot believe what a joke this place is .. the food tasted ok. But, prices were ridiculous and the portions were almost non existent . The atmosphere looked more like a diner than a restaurant. Just came from dinner at Netties! AMAZING! From start to finish. Service, food and atmosphere all 5 stars! Our waitress Ange was fantastic. She was so personable and gave us great recommendations! The whipped buttermilk ricotta delish! The house salad was so so good! The braised fennel, delish! The vinegar chicken simply amazing! My husband had the steak which was cooked to perfection and those Yucca frieswow. It was such a great experience. The owner stopped by our table and chatted with us for a bit and we were so happy to meet her! We just came back from a vacation in Italy and honestly Netties brought us right back..from the wines to the cocktails to the amazing food. We can’t wait to go back. The prices were very reasonable too for such exceptional food!
