It was our last dinner and the last restaurant in our list of the top in the city. it was a great final place is amazing, the staff is great and eating really well prepared and creatiw, but it was the wee. list that impressed me most. I would never have thought that I would find more than labels in a small country restaurant.
This restaurant is located a few minutes walk from the central square along cobblestone streets and brightly coloured buildings. From the moment we were greeted and shown to our table you could sense that this was going to be a refined dining experience. Our waiter...explained to us the various options that night and took our drink order which was delivered promptly. The sommelier came over to offer assistance in choosing a wine to match or dinner choices. The restaurant has an extensive wine list from many countries. However we wanted to try some local wines and we settled on a local Cabernet Franc from Minas which was of excellent quality. We only order mains and a dessert but both were elegantly plated and the flavour combinations were amazing. We found the restaurant to have a cosy romantic ambience. Our table was situated by the window which only added to the feeling. Certainly could not fault anything on the night. Restaurant does not open until and quickly filled up so I would recommend making a reservation to avoid a wait. Was a little pricey by Brazilian standards but quality and refined dining rarely comes cheap. Would certainly return if I am in Tiradentes again. Highly recommended.
We did go for dessert amazing! Nicely presented and so delicious! Staff is friendly, attendance great and location romantic. Be aware of higher prices ..
First of all we had to wait over hour and half to get our food. Secondly when it came all five dishes tasted terribly, worst quality food I had in Tiradentes. The ambience was loud and unfriendly to the ones who wish to have...a nice conversation. Extremely disappointing experience. The only thing that was good about the restaurant was the service.
