Maria Mitotes is a wonderful surprise, in a deep embedded old style Tlaquepaque home, it offers a very well ventilated terrace and green live plant food around her as well as old tile floors and an all you can eat menu for under $100 MXN apple $5 USD we tried the crushed beef sweets in a bright red tomato sauce, chicken enchiladas in pepian sauce The best I ever had!! The famous Cazuelas is a local drink, the white tequila and pressed natural grapefruit, orange, lime and sweet lemon with a splash of Grapefruit Soda and sea salt! Delicious, refreshing and delicious. If you want traditional food at old prices, this is the best.
We went because of the recommendations, although the food was not very good... Very cheap and beautiful atmosphere
Words fail me, but this little off the beaten path place has wonderfully tasty Mexican food! It seems to be the sister restaurant to Maria Tamale. The service was excellent and the food was Top notch, most especially the tamale which was, bar none, the best tamale I have ever had anywhere! Try not to miss eating in this lovely, quaint restaurant.
I just have to say that you have to eat in this place. I loved rainbow tamales and champurrado!! The best beans I've ever tried!! Great variety of tamales and other mexican plates... location is good, very mexican restaurant in a small patio full of color!!
I just spent the day touring the Guatalajara area with friends from Seattle, and our dinner at Mitotes was the highlight of our day. This fun little restaurant served traditional Guatalajaran dishes with a creative flare. The recipes come from the owner's mother, grandmother, and aunties. We shared several dishes and really enjoyed them all. Try the chocolate froth popsicle for dessert!
