Ballalva's Mexitalian - Toano

My coworkers generously brought me some pupusas for a delightful birthday lunch at the office. These pupusas are absolutely exceptional! I highly recommend trying them. I had previously sampled pupusas from another local place and decided I didn't like them. However, these pupusas have completely changed my perspective—they're that good! Don't hesitate to go; you won't regret it!

The ownership has changed, so be sure to ask for the menu before placing your order! It’s not the same as the old Ballalva’s Mexitalian. I was quite disappointed with their burrito and quesadillas.

Fast, friendly, tasty food. We both got tacos (him steak, me chicken) and the salsa is amazing!

Very unassuming from the outside, but had such a great experience with my family here last night! The chicken burrito was HUGE and delicious. Mix and match tacos were also a favorite. Haven't tried the Italian menu items yet, but we will definitely go back. I would only suggest that they play some background music to lighten the atmosphere. Very clean inside and Hugo (owner) was friendly and attentive as our waiter. Give this family business a shot!

Best authentic Mexican food and the Italian food is as good! Great service. Expect to take home half your dinner, unless you are a competition eater. Prices are reasonable, too.
