Crazy how your treated by your fellow soldiers if you didn't go over seas. We all fought the same war, some of us were kept back to make sure other's made it home. Just food for thought.

Great place to visit especially on Wednesdays when it's wing night. Wings are great.

I went to try the fish fry, but unfortunately, they were out of it.

I had a wonderful experience at an engagement party this evening in their outdoor pavilion.

As an active duty veteran, I hold a special connection to this town, and I make it a point to visit every few years. The VFW has consistently provided a welcoming atmosphere, especially when I've wanted to be around fellow soldiers or when I don’t feel comfortable in other bars due to my PTSD. I first came here as a Private, then as a Specialist, and now as a Staff Sergeant, and I have always been treated with warmth and respect. I hope to return for a drink one day. The location is nice and secluded, yet conveniently situated along a main road, making it well worth a visit.
