The Berggasthof Gisiboden is approx. 1200 m above Hausberg Hasenhorn of the municipality of Todtnau. By car you can reach the Berggasthof of Todtnau, part of Gschwend. Another alternative is to take the chairlift from Todtnau to Hasenhorn and then comfortably walk approx. 2 km first steep uphill through a forest and then moderately steep to the mountain in Gisiboden. On the way you have a magnificent view of the surrounding Schwarzwaldberge, the Belchen and the Feldberg as well as the entire holiday country Todtnauer. The mountain ride costs 4,50 €, valley and mountain ride 6,00 €. Once you have reached the Berggasthof after the walk, you will find a simple but cozy guest room with a rich menu. It includes regional dishes, hot and cold vesper and soups. The pea stew kept my mouth particularly well. In spring, summer and autumn, if the temperatures allow, the garden industry is open and you can enjoy the Black Forest landscape and air with a magnificent view. Lunch for coffee there are homemade cakes. The hosts and service staff are very dedicated to the guests and you have the feeling of being a welcome guest. The Berggasthof also has simple foreign rooms 12 DZ and 4 MZ with running cold and hot water, so you can spend a few days vacation here. The Gisiboden is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours to the surrounding area. In my opinion, Gisiboden is always worth a visit. I would like to point out that below the chairlift, which brings you to a 2.9 km long toboggan run, climbs down to the valley station and large and small can go to the valley more or less quickly, see www:hasenhorn-rodelbahn.de .
