Cafe Aquarium - Toktogul

Delicious, but only one type food and no good toilet.

A clean cafe with a panoramic view on the Toktogul reservoir, managed by a very nice family couple. They offer a hot trout in the oil caught in the Naren River, which forms the Toktogul reservoir. You'll get a fresh bow and a pepper and a tomato sauce. We liked the taste of trout, recommended to visit!

The fish is OK considering the location, but it’s no Wisconsin fish fry : a bit pricy for the region as well, especially the salads

Café Aquarium is a nice place for a rest while driving on the Bishkek to Osh highway. It is literally build like an aquarium with glas on 3 sides so that guests can enjoy the scenic view on Karagöl lake and the mountain range. Try the dumpling soup and enjoy delicious tea. They also serve trout. The toilet is in the little hut outside, just a hole in the ground, but with spectacular lake view.

You can buy variety of fish. It is very clean and staff are friendly. It has astonishing view towards Toktogul Reservoir
