I like the sweet, tomato-based suppe and green curry in Bengo set. so hearty. the “egg” roll-lookalike also tasted like real ei. defo recommends them to try if they are in tokio. I also bought a mini-tor of vegan tiramisu to go 7.40sgd, 740 yen it was so goouod. living room
I had the bento because it was most talked about the thema. it was delicious, but too expensive to want more than once, honestly. also had a highball, but it was very strong, just had to have been a splash of sodawater, I would come back, but I would try something else.
Finally, I went here after I went to all their other Tokyo locations and their Kyoto location, and in comparison to all their other locations was extremely let down. the cheapest courses were about 5000yen per person and were so disappointing! I believe they have changed since popularisation; I can't think of any other wise, they have so many 5 star reviews. nothing was special, from the presentation to the taste to the portions to the atmosphere. nothing tastes bad, but paid for the price, much more should be delivered. and the drink selection in the curs menu was limited to tea and coffee. bakery only review: unique, but pricy and limited. I have a great biscotti from the bakery. very nice. they have many other foods that are gluten-free and vegan. has some nicely packed pastries that make good gifts. I give the bakery itself 3 stars, especially the price that brings them down. updated by the previous review on 2019 12 07 of the previous review updated on 2021 06 26
It was a way too expensive and not really something special. All the good recommendations are paid, because you get a dessert for free when you give them a good recommendation. They said it’s fully booked and we have to wait but there where just 2 persons and the rest was free. We had to wait 30 min and then they gave us a table Which was free the whole time like the other 3 tables .
The BENTO was amazing, the best food I had since a while! The spinache soup is a bit like indian palak, very good! Not cheap, very nice upscale atmosphere.
