I would honestly give this restaurant 5 stars. It was the best ramen I have had in months. It seems like they have stopped serving non-vegan ramen as there was no meat option on the menu. The owner confirmed that they currently only offer a vegan ramen, which is a shio (salt) based broth with added root vegetables. This gives the soup a clear pink color and a new delicious complexity. It was a unique and experimental flavor combination that I had never tasted before. The toppings were plentiful, including a beetroot gyoza. The vegan options available include ramen, gyoza, and scallion rice (which was surprisingly delicious).
Recently harajuku was offered with many choices for vegan ramen and bassanowa is a new child on the block with a certain hire. they have a creamy miso suppe based ramen and beet broth saltramen and both are amazingly delicious. they also have fake fried chicken and pot stickers (gyoza) that were also amazing. mosdef is worth trying this place. updated by previous review on 2020-03-09
This restaurant definitely has the vibe of a chain. You can order three vegan dishes from the ticket machine, two of which are cold. I tried the cold ramen, which was tasty with a nice lemony and slightly spicy flavor.
I tried the cold green curry with vegan soy chicken at this restaurant and it was really delicious. The vegan dumplings were also tasty. The store has a convenient ticket machine for ordering and all the vegan options are clearly labeled in English.
