Coco Ichibanya Gyoenmae - Tokyo

I recently visited a Coco Ichibanya restaurant and was pleased to find that the vegetarian menu (which is all vegan) was clearly marked. I ordered the soy meat vegetarian curry with spinach and mushrooms, and was happy with the generous portion size. The restaurant was not too busy, creating a nice atmosphere when I visited around 8 o'clock. The service was quick and I had no issues with my meal. Overall, I would recommend Coco Ichibanya to vegans looking for a satisfying and affordable meal. This Coco branch is absolutely stunning. It is slightly tucked away from the park, providing a quiet, spacious, and airy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive. This particular location offers a wide variety of vegan options, including approximately 6 curries and 2-3 accidentally vegan side dishes, making it easy to find something delicious on the menu. The soy-meat cut used to be available as a torf, but recently it has been downsized.

This restaurant may not be completely vegan, but they offer a separate menu with delicious vegetable curry options. The portions are very generous and satisfying.

This restaurant is similar to Subway but for curry. You get to choose your rice, spice level, and sauce (only the vegetarian sauce is vegan), and then add toppings. You order everything on a tablet that can be switched to English. They no longer offer soy meat, but the vegetables are still very delicious. The service is fast and friendly!

You place your order on tablets at the table, allowing you to see exactly which dishes are made with vegetarian sauce. You'll need to look for the green words indicating vegetarian options and scroll through the menu since there are only three topping choices: spinach, seafood, or egg. It's important to note that just because a dish is labeled as "vegetarian," it may still contain animal products, so be sure to look for the green words indicating that it is free from animal ingredients. However, you can customize your meal with a variety of vegetable options to create a satisfying and filling dish. The service is excellent as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!
