Katsu Midori - Tokyo

Like others have mentioned, we only had to wait for 15 minutes to be seated. We brought our own soy sauce because the restaurant's sauce contained Bonito. The restaurant primarily focuses on fish sushi, but they do offer a few vegan options. While the selection was limited, the avocado sushi we tried was good. We ordered using the iPads provided since there were no vegan options on the conveyor belt. Our first order took a bit longer to come out (about 30 minutes for 4 rolls), but subsequent orders were quicker. We ended up eating a lot of avocado sushi and left feeling very satisfied. The bill came out to 3000 yen, which was a great value for the amount of food we received despite the limited vegan choices.

Make sure to bring your own soy sauce! The restaurant's soy sauce contains fish. We didn't know this beforehand and didn't have any soy sauce for our sushi. It would have been better if we had brought our own, but other than that, it was a fun and playful experience with fresh and tasty dishes. There are also plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. This restaurant offers some vegan options such as avocado nigiri and inari, but does not have classics like avocado maki and vegan tempura. Ordering is easy with the iPad (in English) and the prices are very affordable.

The sushi was simple and delicious. Have fun with the sushi train. When we were there, the line was pretty short, so it didn't take too long to get in.
